Thanksgiving at Jerry and Ruth's

We've gone to doing the typical "every-other-year" thing with the holidays and this Thanksgiving was to be spent at Ruth and Jerry's.  And, as always, it was delicious.  Ruth does a FABULOUS job with dinner.
Ruth had a package of plastic wishbones she was handing out to everyone to make wishes with.  Marley and Emorie did the wishbones "challenge" and Marley won.  Emorie said if she could make the wish, she would wish that her and Marley would be best friends.  Marley said "I wish that we WOULDN'T be best friends!"

Even when he's fussy or crying, I still think this boy is adorable!

Grace and Ryan tried the wishbone "challenge".

Left to Right: Seth Bennett (with the cool transition lenses), Aaron Fowlks, Alyssa Fowlks (holding Hendrix), Emorie Cooke (holding Marley), Luke Bennett (in BRIGHT orange), Ryan Bennett, Aric Bennett, Ethan Fowlks, Isabelle Cooke (holding Grace)

Isabelle looking cute while Seth looks disappointed because I made him give Isabelle the hat back so I could take her picture.

I'm so impressed by how awesome Emorie is with Marley.  Emorie always plays with Marley everytime she sees Marley.

Grace and Dickens (Ruth's Yorkshire terrier) want in on the picture action.

Then we rope Alyssa in on the pictures...

Then we coax Isabelle to join in as well.  Then Darcy (Ruth's other Yorkshire terrier) tries to photo bomb.  Having all the granddaughters in one picture is adorable!

Emorie calls this her "child scarf".  I guess Emorie does this to her cat at home and call it her "cat scarf".

Then there is Grace who is laying under the barstools on the floor...

Ruth has this table cloth where everyone can write what they are thankful for.

Ruth puts all her change in this jar and donates it to St. Jude's when it's full!

Kevin wrote this nearly 10 years ago!  Time truly just flies by!

We traced Marley and Grace's hands.

This one made me sad because we weren't able to spend this Thanksgiving with grandparents Selby and Violet Yates.  But that's the beauty of Christ's sacrifice for us because we will be to see them again!

Marley found these bunny ears and wanted to eat a carrot so she could pretend she was a rabbit.

Of course, Grace had to wear them as well!

Trina's famous blue ribbon apple pie.  Trina made this apple pie and it was fabulous!  Tasted as good as it looks!!
