Tantrum Time

When you don't let Grace do things she wants to do, the result is often this:

 Look at her throw a fit! 

Just Eat It

Grace will often ask for more food when there is still food on her plate.  I tell her she needs to eat to food on her plate first before she gets more food. Grace has now started to take the food off her plate and while holding it in her hands tell me she wants more. She seems to think that if her plate is empty, no matter how it became empty, it means she can have more food!!

Rocking the Baby

Grace sat in the rocking chair and insisted that I let her rock Hendrix. She's so cute!!

New Bed

Our wonderfully talented interior designer and friend, Ashley, is putting together the bedroom that Marley and Grace are going to share.  Ashley came over to do some things with the room and had the new headboards delivered.  I must say that I am in LOVE with what Ashley has picked out and the color scheme she's using.  She snapped this lovely photo of Marley.  I love this picture of Marley and the coloring.  See, it IS possible for Marley to have a relatively natural smile for the camera!!

Two Cute Kids

I got a picture of Marley and Hendrix "talking" to each other.  So cute!  Hendrix definitely tries to communicate with us in his using his baby talk.  

Bubble Hats

Marley and Grace ask for bubbles in the bath every night.  Even though I don't let them do it often because I'm afraid of them getting bladder infections, I will let them do it occasionally and they love it!!

Crabby for Dinner

Marley is an INSANELY picky eater.  Sometimes when Kevin makes her something that I normally make, she'll comment "you didn't make it how mom does!"  I don't understand how she thinks Kevin can mess up making a quesodilla! Or she won't eat the "tops" of grapes because she doesn't like them....ummm really Marley?!   For dinner tonight, I made this great roast (if I do say so myself!) and she whined and cried and fussed the WHOLE time she was at the dinner table.  After a few threats and time-outs, she finally ate her dinner.  It was like I was trying to feed her poison!!

Marley's Many Faces

I tried to snap pictures of Marley watching "Cinderella".  Even though I wasn't fast enough and didn't get very good faces, she will watch this show and have all these looks on her face, depending on what's going on in the movie.  Sometimes it's a happy face because something nice is happening, or sometimes it's concern or sometimes it's a scowl. 

Goose Egg

Grace is always messing around.  She was up on the counter and started messing about and fell off (which she's never done before) and accrued this large bump on her forehead.  She cried for a little but, all in all, was just fine!

Ms Josslyn

Jono and Tina came up for a visit and brought one of my favorite new nieces, little Josslyn.  She is SO ADORABLE!  I want to just squeeze her!!  She is so much better than Hendrix at sleeping!  I wish he could take a lesson from her!

Santa Baby

Here's my cute little "Santa Baby"...Kevin put this hat on Hendrix and I think he looks so cute!

Oscar Dog

Our little mini-pin, Oscar, is coming up on a birthday here soon.  We got him in December of 2003.  So he is almost 9 years old!! I cannot believe that we have had him for that long and even though he is a little gray around the mouth and paws, he doesn't act old at all.  He's still the spunky little dog that follows the kids around to eat up any food they may drop!  

Even though he looks like it, my dog is NOT possessed!

Cookies and a Nap

It's a blurry picture because I tried to take a picture while the car was moving, but Grace fell asleep with cookie in-hand after we left Charisse Poulter's open house for her son's baby blessing.

Ginger Bread House

Kevin bought a ginger bread house (that was already pre-made...there is no way I could make ginger bread on my own!)  Marley and Grace were dying to put it together.  They actually managed to make the house, with enough candy to cover it.  I thought for sure the girls would eat most of the candy before the candy made it on to the house (even though they did sneak some!)

Nursing Bitty Baby

Grace sees me taking care of Hendrix and has lately been imitating me with her Bitty baby.  Here, she wanted to sit in the rocking chair with me so she could nurse her Bitty Baby while I nursed Hendrix!

Let's Dance

After I had gotten Grace and Marley dressed for church, they decided they would dance together like "Cinderella" does.  They have been watching "Cinderalla" quite a bit lately...

Kicking in the Bath

Hendrix loves the bath! It's almost instantly soothing if he's been crying before he gets in.  He's been so cute lately because he is now kicking his little legs and splashing water everywhere!

Tickle Monster

Marley and Grace put these "Tickle Monster" gloves on and pretended to be monsters.  They are so cute!!
