Easter Sunday

We went to my mom's house for Easter dinner and an Easter egg hunt. My mom was nice enough to put on an egg hunt for the only two grandkids that can walk.  She made it a special egg hunt...all the eggs had money in them!  Where were those kind of egg hunts when I was a kid?  We gave Grace these ADORABLE Mini-Mouse dress-up shoes for part of her Easter gift and she wore them around ALL day!!!
Dinner was really nice because in addition to having my family, Alece, Jono, Tina, Josslyn and Seth, my grandma Orie, and my Uncle David, my half brother Rory with his two boys came over as well (Rory lives in Cedar City).  This is an especially hard Easter because it's the first Easter without my dad and the first time we have never had my dad here to celebrate his birthday (he was born March 31st).  It nearly brought me to tears when we sang happy birthday to my dad.  I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to see my dad again and what nice timing that Easter is on March 31st this year to help us remember the sacrifice that Christ made for us to become a forever family!!!
Marley and Grace had a wonderful time finding the eggs--eggs with money in them!!

Easter Bubbles

Easter Sunday this year was absolutely beautiful.  We gave the girls some bubble wands for Easter and let them go out in the back to play with them.  Grace decided that she only needed to wear a diaper and boots, and Marley wanted to play in her Easter outfit.  Our Sacrament meeting didn't start until 1 pm, so we had a nice breakfast and spent a nice morning together.

Easter Bow Tie

My friend Maren Larsen's boy would always wear the cutest bow ties and she would give them to her boys for Easter.  I had to get some for Hendrix for his first Easter.  The bow tie looks ADORABLE! Then Kevin added the clown wig, which made me laugh.

But it Looks so Cute!

Marley had been coloring these little "Hello Kitty" pieces of paper and INSISTED that she take a picture of it because "it looks so cute!"

Marley and Hendrix

When Marley saw how cute Hendrix was in his bow tie we gave him for Easter, she wanted to hold him.  They look so adorable together!!

Easter Dress-up Shoes

We gave the girls each a pair of dress-up shoes as a part of their Easter Basket.  Grace wore hers ALL day, and in some cases, that's all she wore!

Egg Hunt "Egg"stravaganza

I tried to get tickets to Wheeler Farms egg hunt (because we missed it last year) but it sold out so quickly.  So we decided to go to Thanksgiving Point's Easter egg hunt instead.  It actually wasn't too bad (I was afraid that it would be difficult for the girls to get eggs if there were too many people).  They had the age groups split up and put out what had to be HUNDREDS of plastic eggs.  Kevin took Marley and Hendrix and I took Grace.  Everyone seemed really cordial about collecting eggs (except for some grown man had a handfuls of egg...seriously?!) and the girls thought it was a good time!  For some reason I don't have pictures of Grace.

Swinging Her Baby

After bath, we often swing Marley and Grace in their towels.  I caught Grace doing the same swinging with her Bitty Baby and Grace's blanket.  It was hard to get a clear picture of her swinging it because she kept running around!

Ashlyn and Savvy go Jeepin'

Our neighbors have the two great little girls who are Marley and Grace's ages.  Here they are riding the Jeep.  Ashlyn is a pretty good driver!!

Eagle Scout

Kevin's sister, Kristen, invited us to her son, Aaron's Eagle Scout award ceremony.  It was really nice. They had some of Aaron's fellow scouts each say something about scouting, as well as Aaron's father, Guy, and Aaron's Scout Master. I tried to get a picture of Aaron but couldn't quite get one; all I got were of Grace and Marley playing with Luke!

Banana Peel

Hendrix has started eating solid foods.  He ended up getting a hold of this banana peel and made the biggest mess trying to eat it.  I love this kid!  He's so adorable!!!!

Underneath the Pews

One of Marley's Primary classmates sat in front of us at church, and of course they wanted to get down on the floor and play whatever game Kylie had.  It was kind of cute how they had their feet kicked up.
