Marley and Lydia

We used to be neighbors with the Starr's and we are really sad that they couldn't have moved with us when we did.  Marley and Lydia still play together as much as we can get them together.  Marley LOVES Lydia and they always get along so well! It's so cute to see them together!

Shrek

Ever since Marley was really little, she LOVED going to plays.  We got extra tickets to the musical, "Shrek", and so Kevin took Marley.  We also buy tickets to kid-friendly plays at Kingsbury Hall and she often asks when the next play will be!

Relaxing in Church

It was so cute in church when Marley let Grace rest on her lap!

Belt to Bed?

Marley often wants either Kevin or I to lay down with her for a few minutes before she goes to bed.  I was laying by her, trying to get her blankets situated and the blankets kept getting caught on something.  Then I realized the catch was a belt.  For whatever crazy reason, Marley was trying to wear this belt to sleep!  Needless to say, I made her remove it because it seems a tad dangerous to me.

Dino Museum

Since the weather is so cold and yucky, we took the kids to the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum. I haven't been there for years and they have added lots of other exhibits and activities.  The girls had a great time!

Defender 90

Kevin has always talked about Defender 90s but I guess you can't find them in the USA because they won't pass emissions. I saw this one at a stop light and decided I really like the look of them...to bad we can't buy one!!

Couch Time in PJs

Jono or Alece sent me this picture of Josslyn just lounging on the couch in her leisure wear.  How adorable is she?  I wish I could give her a kiss right now!!

Tears at Target

Marley had a melt down at Target.  We were in the little girls clothes section, and then we were going to head over and look at the toys.  But then Marley decided she would harass Grace and bite Grace's finger.  So, as punishment, because Marley KNOWS that she is NOT supposed to do things like that, we skipped looking at toys.  This put Marley in a downward tailspin, but it didn't, however, stop Marley putting in some play vampire teeth she found in my purse.  I thought it was HILARIOUS that she continued to cry while those fake teeth were in her mouth!

Nice Eyebrows

After we got done skating at Classic Skating (you can tell that she had lots of cotton candy by looking at her blue teeth!), we made a quick stop at REI to return something.  I was waiting in the car with the kids and Marley asked me for a baby wipe.  It's not unusual because she will often ask for one to wipe her hands.  Well, she didn't use it to wipe her hands this time...she told me she made "eyebrows" with them.  More like a uni-brow! 

Classic Skating

My friend, Janarae's daughter, Kylie (who Marley LOVES to play with) was turning 6, so they threw a little skating party for her.  Marley and Grace had never skated before, but they actually did pretty well using this skate-walker-type-thing as support.  In fact, it inspired me to get skates for Marley for her birthday!

 I thought this was so cute! Since she was the birthday girl, Kylie got go in the wind tunnel thing and catch all the Classic Skating money she could in three minutes.

Sleeping in Church

Our time for church this year is so late; from 1pm until 4pm.  This of course, runs right into nap time for Hendrix and Grace.  Poor Grace doesn't usually get a chance to nap, but we can sneak one in for Hendrix!

Just Too Tired

My family was over for dinner and good times, so, of course, Marley wanted to stay up and hang out.  She tried to make it, but sleep overcame her as she leaned against Aunt Alece.

How Attractive

Alece snapped this horrible photo of me.  Just when I think I'm having an ok day with my hair, I see this picture and think twice!!!

PJ Party

Marley and Grace like to have little movie parties in their PJs. Kevin looks really excited to have the girls sitting on his lap!
