Marley LOVES looking at magazines, especially Pottery Barn Kids or toy catalogs.  She'll often pick them up & just thumb through them, telling me all the things that she likes and/or wants out of them!

Making Faces

I found all these pictures on my phone...it looks as though Marley knows how to entertain herself!!!

Marley's first flowers from a BOY!

Should I be concerned when the neighbor boy, Hendrix, shows up at our door with flowers for Marley?
He such an adorable little boy! He & his mom dropped the flowers off to tell Marley "happy birthday" but that he was sorry he couldn't make her birthday party since he would be out-of-town! It was really sweet!!

Snow Cave

Every time it snows, Marley begs & begs to go out & play. Kevin made her this great little snow cave that was just perfect for her to sit in!

A visit to Kellie's

We often to go to Kellie's house to
catch-up & chit chat. Ever since she quit the dermatology clinic at we don't get to see each other at work anymore. So it's nice to visit. Marley took all these random photos...some didn't turn out (& got deleted), but some weren't too bad!! Kellie wasn't too thrilled about them though!

Marley decided she would play with the bag, but she put on heels so she could go shopping!! She actually walked around quite well in those heels!!

Baby in a Bag

This sack was kicking around & Grace demanded that I put her in it! She thought is was a wonderful thing to play in...why do I bother spending money on toys?

Las Vegas

On our last day in Vegas, we stopped at the Ethyl M's chocolate factory. They have pretty good chocolate. We took a walk around the botanical cactus garden they have just outside. It was so depressing to leave because the weather was so nice & we knew we were heading back to snow in Utah.

I tried to get a picture of Marley & Grace in the botanical garden at Ethyl M's, but it seems like they couldn't get on the same page of cooperating at the same time!

Las Vegas

While everyone went to the Vegas Strip (because Chelsea hadn't been before), we decided to take the kids to the park. The strip is something Kevin & I have been down many times & isn't always so fun with little kids.

Unfortunately, the park we choose was under renovation, so most of the play areas were fenced off...but I think they still had fun feeding the ducks!

Even though Grace wanted to feed the ducks, she was a little timid at giving the birds bread!

Las Vegas

We went to Las Vegas because February in Utah can be so 'blah' & we knew it would be warmer & sunny! We went with Tina, Jono, Seth, & his girlfriend Chelsea (Alece said she had other plans...apparently she's too good for us!)

Kevin always watches 'Pawn Stars' & made us go by the pawn shop while we were in Vegas. There was a LONG line outside just to get in to the pawn shop...definitely not worth waiting in & we were all glad that Kevin realized that as well!!!

Squeaky Shoes

My grandma gave me these little squeaky shoes from Japan & I used to wear them around when I was really little.  Marley used to wear them around when they fit her, & now Grace loves trying to wear these around.  She tries so hard to put them on by herself, but usually have to end up helping her with them!

Snacks on the Floor

One day in church, Page Bills, (who is about 6 or 8 months older than Grace) grabbed our Goldfish bag & apparently dumped it out all over the floor.  By the time I realized what was going on, they had already eaten most of the Goldfish off the floor.  It looks like they had a great time doing it!!

Bag Boots

Grace brought the plastic newspaper cover bag to me & INSISTED that I put it on her foot like a boot!  She even tried to walk around with it on...I have to say she did pretty good!  No slipping or falling!!

Fear of Heights

I added this pictures because I thought Grace looked so cute in her diapers & leg-warmers!!!

These are the pictures that make this post!! I usually let Grace run around in the buff just before her bath at night so her little bootie can get some fresh air!  I heard her in the kitchen crying...& when I went to find her, this is how I found her...

She got up on this little stool & for whatever reason, she felt she was trapped & it was too high to get down from!! It's absolutely CRAZY that she thinks that she cannot get down from this stool because gets up AND down from our master bedroom bed all by herself almost on a daily basis! She cracks me up!!

Model Magic

We got out the clay Marley got for Christmas. She made the cutest "island" sculpture! I was so impressed by her creativity! She says she wants to be an artist when she grows up, then a teacher, then a doctor, & finally, a ballerina!!

Discovery Gateway Museum

Sadly, it's been TOO long since I took the girls to the children's museum. So after Marley was done with preschool, we went over for about 1 1/2 hours. They both had such a great time!! Grace was just thrilled to be running around pretty much uninhibited (apparently no one goes to the museum after noon because there were very few people, which is actually perfect! It wasn't overwhelming & teaming with so many people!)
