We were lucky enough to score tickets to Real Soccer Team's playoff game against Portland. The weather was great, especially for November. Since we had four tickets, we invited Seth and his gal, Chelsea. Sadly, Real lost the game!
The band Neon Trees lead singer, Tyler Glenn, sang the national anthem. He has a pretty dang good voice under all that flamboyant attitude!!
As soon as the game started, the south section, of which really hard-core fans seem to sit, released an INSANE amount of streamers out onto the field. It always makes me laugh because someone will get on the PA and announce that anyone throwing things out onto the field will be removed from the stadium. It doesn't stop the crowd from throwing things and there is no way anyone could possibly pin-point who threw it out in order to toss the culprit from the stadium.
