Miranda North gave the girls the greatest present. She paid for the adoption of a turtle at the Living Planet Aquarium. The girls got a certificate, a picture, tickets to see the turtle and information on the turtle they adopted. Marley was begging to go see her adopted turtle, so we took a field trip with Grandma Ruth to the aquarium.
At first I had a hard time finding the turtle because she would only swim around the top part of the tank (she is in the top right hand part of the picture). She cannot submerge because she was bitten by a shark and her shell is exposing her body so she cannot go under the water anymore.
We were going to feed the little sharks in this tank, but Marley was much too afraid to do so.
Marley and Grace really like the penguins.
We got to see them feed the otters. Otters are so cute and have such great antics!
