We went to the zoo with Lauren and her daughters Lydia and Elsa (Marley and Lydia love playing together and they get along so well!). I am due with our baby boy August 20 of this year and she's due at the end of December. It was so hot, sweaty and so crowded at the zoo while we were there. When the kids were looking at the seals, Lauren said she had to sit down because she didn't feel good. She kind of looked pale. After she took a little break, we went to the polar bears, and Lauren still didn't feel good but she wanted to power through it because we'd come all the way to the zoo, even though we should have left! I suggested we leave but she said we could ride the carousel since the girls were dying to ride it. I took Grace, Marley and Lydia while Lauren sat down with Elsa. We saw Maren and Susan with their children as we were getting on the carousel. After the ride, I helped the kids off and Lauren told me that the employees on the carousel were cleaning up her throw-up because she got so sick she threw up while the ride was going! I guess Maren was sitting close to Lauren while it happened and was trying to help her! I think being pregnant made both of us lose our minds carting four kids to the zoo when it was so hot and crowded was not the best plan!
At least Lydia and Marley are enjoying the carousel ride!
Grace had a pretty good time as well!
