Let's Share the Chair

Marley and Grace don't always get along, but I think it's so precious when they do!  I caught them sitting in this chair together watching TV.  I LOVE it!!

Little Miss Grace

Grace was just sitting at the counter at her Grandma Ruth's house (which she does often now since we are temporarily living there!) and I snapped these cute photos of her just hanging out!!

Marley Gymnastics

Marley goes to gymnastics (or "janastics" as Marley calls it) at the Gymnastics Training Center.  I really like it because I feel like it helps Marley with her coordination and gives her exercise.  She is in a small class and her teacher Ms. Suzy seems to have patience with Marley.

Let's Share a Stroller

We will often take the stroller to the park across the street, so Marley and Grace will cram their cute little kid bodies into the Bob stroller.

It's Nap Time on Kevin's Back

Kevin was watching TV and cute little Darcy decided that his back was a perfect place for her to take a nap!

Then Marley decided it was a great place for her to nap as well, so she took over after Darcy left!

Darcy also found that sleeping on top of Kevin's clothes and luggage was just as comfortable as his back.  The picture is kind of grainy and it's hard to see her there on top snoozing, but she looks so adorable!

Swing Time

I know you're not supposed to put your baby in the swing to go to sleep because they need to learn to sleep on their own, but Hendrix is still so tiny yet and loves to be in the swing that I figure it can't hurt to let him swing for a bit!

At it Again

Caught Jerry asleep again...this time he is holding Hendrix!

Clown Lips

Marley got into Grandma Ruth's lipstick and decided she was a make-up artist.  Looks like a make-up artist for the clowns at the circus!!  I guess she tried to stay within her lip lines!  She's so funny!!

Nap Time on the Couch

Kevin snapped this very attractive picture of me passed-out on the couch with Hendrix.  Hendrix looks so adorable all snuggled-up sleeping!

Hendrix First Birthday Party

Since we are living with Ruth and Jerry until our new house finalizes, Ruth was nice enough to throw Hendrix a little newborn birthday party when he was two days old, complete with cake and decorations!

Marley and Grace visit Hendrix in the Hospital

I had to stay in the hospital for longer than I wanted (I seriously could've went home the next day after giving birth) because I was group-b strep positive and had Hendrix so fast that they were unable to get any penicillin in me to help protect Hendrix.  So, the pediatrician suggest we stay the full time (which was two nights), just to make sure.  He was fine.  The only thing I worried about was the circumcision because I had never had to take care of that before and I wanted to make sure I didn't do things wrong! I went stir-crazy in the hospital though!  Hendrix took to breast feeding like a champ, but I didn't get much sleep because he always wanted to nurse, so I only sent him to the nursery when they had to take him in for the routine things.  I'm also nervous about him getting sick because Grace and Marley attract germs like magnets and babies get sick so easily.  Hopefully my breast-feeding him will help!

Marley and Grace Visit Hendrix in the Hospital

It was really convenient to be living with Jerry and Ruth when I went into labor with Hendrix because we were able to go to the hospital without having to round someone up to watch the girls.  After Hendrix was born, Jerry and Ruth brought Marley and Grace to see him later that day.
