Marley wanted her birthday party this year at the Discovery Gateway because one of the party package choices was to dress up like princesses and pirates and go on a treasure hunt. Marley LOVES treasure hunts. But then Discovery Gateway has this weird policy where they only allow 25 people TOTAL to come to the party because of space issues. So I couldn't really invite all the family I wanted to, so we just had a small family party after the Discovery Gateway party. Although the kids had a really great time, I don't think I would ever throw a party there as it was just too chaotic.

After we got home from the Discovery Gateway, we met up at our house with Kevin and my families to open Marley's birthday presents and celebrate with family.
