Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

Near the cabin, there is a trailhead that leads to an beautiful over-look of the gorge.  We decided to take the kids on a leisurely hike; maybe a mile round trip.  It turned out a touch more difficult that I imagined.  My kids are absolute city-slickers.  Their lack of endurance for just walking was pretty apparent when they both started whining about "going back" and "when are we going to be done" and, finally, when we reached the end of the hike, "we have to hike back to the car?!"  Then the umbrella stroller, we quickly realized, was not suited for off-roading of any measure, as the wheels kept falling off.  Luckily, Ashley was able to help me carry it at points where pushing it would have been unwise.
Such a cute picture of Evey, Marley and Grace

With all the bumps in the road, Hendrix still managed a snoozer.

The beautiful over-look, of which Marley did not appreciate, as seen by the look on her face.
