Grace and I

Grace wanted to take some pictures of us while she was sitting on my lap.  Grace can be such a loving little girl and is always first to give hugs and kisses.  I can't tell you how much I love the affection she shows me!!

Grace found this Rudolph nose and wore it around the house.  There is always something that I forget to put away when I put away the Christmas stuff every year!!

Cry Yourself to Sleep

Kevin had gone to a Jazz game and I had just gotten everyone ready for bed.  Grace and Marley were supposed to go downstairs to watch one of the movies they got for Christmas.  I can't remember why, but Grace refused to come down to watch the movie, and instead chose to scream and cry at the top of the stairs over whatever it was she refused to come down for.  I just let her cry, thinking she would just give up and come down.  Then I noticed it was very quiet and I wondered if Grace just ended up playing in the playroom or something.  So when I got to the top of the stairs, I found Grace fast asleep!  Poor kid cried herself to sleep!!

Chewy Feet

Hendrix got a hold of one of the girl's Disney dolls they got for Christmas and seemed to LOVE chewing on the doll's feet. 

Glass Slippers

Grandma Ruth and Papa Jerry gave Marley these Cinderella shoes for Christmas and she has been wearing them all day! 

Christmas

We are celebrating Christmas for the first time in our new house and Hendrix's first Christmas ever.  So fun to see the kids open their presents!  Then we had the Ackroyd side of the family over for some non-traditional Japanese dinner: sukiyaki and egg rolls.  Delicious!!

This pictures has nothing to do with OUR Christmas, but Chelsea's sister's kid's Christmas.  They turned the space underneath the stairs in to a play house.  I just thought this was the cutest idea and wanted to post it.  Somehow it landed here!
