Every year, for the past several years, Papa Jerry and Grandma Ruth host the Annual Cooke Family Bowling Party at Fat Cats bowling. There are two big trophies: one for the adults and one for the kids. If you win a big trophy, you get your named engraved on a plate that is placed one the trophy for all to see, are the bowling winner for that year and have the satisfaction of know you dominated everyone else in bowling! For Christmas, Jerry and Ruth gave Kevin and this kids some shirts. Marley's says "Thing 1"; Grace's says "Thing 2"; Hendrix's says "Thing 3"; and Kevin's says "Father of All Things". So they decided to wear them to the bowling tournament.
When Marley was bowling, her ball took at least a couple of minutes to get to the pins. I helped her bowl, but tried to let her do most of it herself!
Grace was more interested in eating than bowling!
It's hard to see, but that's Ethan Fowlks giving Marley some bowling tips!
Is Alyssa Fowlks' look one of frustration in not bowling well?
Isabelle Cooke goes by her own rules...bowling shoes refused and "granny" bowling a must!
"Thing 3" isn't have the best of times!
Papa Jerry won the big trophy for the adults and Aaron Fowlks won the big trophy for the 18 and under crowd. Marley and Grace were happy with their participation medals!
Seth Bennett doesn't seem as satisfied with his participation medal...
This is where our time was up for bowling, as you can see, I'm someone you want on your bowling team! A 55 with only two frames left, that's a bowling pro! Ha ha!
Me (holding Hendrix), Kevin, and his sister Kristen and her hubby Guy.
Still not having a good time!!
