Marley went to her friend Lydia's fifth birthday party. It had a "Fancy Nancy" theme to it, so all the party favors were "fancy" type items, like these gloves. But as Marley put them on, she explained to me that these are her "cleaning" gloves. A few weeks ago, Aunt Alece was about to clean and Marley said "are you going to clean? Then I need to put my tank top on!" Whatever that is supposed to mean. She also likes to follow Grandma Ruth's cleaning lady, DeeDee, around as well. On top of being a ballerina, doctor, teacher, and artist, Marley now says that she is going to be a cleaning woman when she grows up...hmmm if only I could get her to do that while she is living at my house!
