Hendrix has to be the hardest kid to get to go to sleep!! None of my kids were very good sleepers, but he is the worst out of the three. He sleeps about 45 minutes for naps (if I'm lucky) and about four hours at a time at night (unless I'm holding him, then he sleeps really well!) He doesn't take a binky well at all (but I won't let him suck on his thumb/fingers to go to sleep because I don't want a "thumb sucker"...I sucked my two fingers until I was six and had some really buck teeth!) and doesn't breast feed for comfort, so he has nothing to soothe himself except me rocking or holding him. It's going to be a long few months until he sleeps longer periods of time! But he sure looks cute when he does finally go to sleep!!
