Weekend Without Mom

I went to Vegas with Miranda and Necia and Kevin was left to his own devices with the kids.  He actually did a wonderful job and they looked like they had a great time!!

Throw Back

Miranda sent me this picture of Marley and Kinley when they were so tiny!  It made me almost cry because as much as they need to, I absolutely HATE to see them grow-up! Can't they stay small for a little longer?!

Cute as a Bug

Our wonderful friend, Eileen, had a lovely baby girl a few months back, Emily.  This is Emily in her adorable little Halloween costume.  We haven't meet her yet, but hopefully we will some day soon!!

Halloween Carnival

We went to the Provo rec center with to meet up with Miranda and Justin and their kids Sadie and Kinley for their annual Halloween Carnival.  It's busy, but so great for the kids.  We got delayed, and didn't make it until really late, so we only were able to say "hi" and "bye" to Miranda and Justin as they were leaving.  Our kids still had a great time!

 Before we left to the carnival, Hendrix caked his hair in shampoo...

 Hendrix's Halloween costume was just some grey eyebrows and mustache so he could an "old man". Not too original, I know.  He spent the evening with my mom and sister because I knew that he would be difficult to handle at the carnival with all those people!

Halloween Parade

Marley's school had a Halloween Parade.  Since she is in kindergarten, she got to march around in her costume!

My Birthday Treat

I'm turning 35 (ugh and yuck!) but Kevin brought me a lovely little dessert.  It was delish!

October Birthdays

My mom and I have birthdays in October, so often we will celebrate by having everyone get together for a family dinner.

 Hendrix loved that Grandma Orie would push him around on the baby stroller!

I tried to make a birthday pie and, well, it got a bit over-done. Yikes!
