Real Soccer

Kevin has season tickets to Real Soccer.  I don't go very often because it's hard to find a babysitter, but I try to make it at least once a season! They are a riot!

Color Run

Some gals in the neighborhood got my sister and I to do the Color Run.  It was a great time, although I didn't get powder coated with color as much as others did...and I tried!!

Hendrix First Birthday Party with the Fam

Cannot believe that this little man Hendrix is already one.  Even though I know how fast time goes, I am still always amazed at how fast it goes.  I love that this little boy is in our lives.  He makes our lives brighter and better!  Happy Birthday my favorite boy!!!

He really loved this water toy he got!

I love this! He looks like he is drunk on birthday cake!!!

Loosing Your Head Camping

Jono was camping in Mount Pleasant, Ut and came upon a camp that had this manikin head sitting on a picnic table.  So bizarre....

Miss Little Bootie

I wish I had Marley's kind of confidence...

Sleeping Gem

I prompted my brother Jono to send me more pictures of Josslyn as I don't see her that often.  He sent me this wonderful little picture:

Baby Girls Are Lovely

A gal in our neighborhood is having her first baby, a girl, and I thought it would be nice to throw her a baby shower.  Luckily, I had the great help of Erin (who I have seen decorate for other showers) and her wonderful talents. The shower was themed around books.  I think it turned out really nice!
I made this little book tree...whether anyone else liked it or not, I thought it was cute.

Erin made the awesome banner and the rosette-type decor for the railing.

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

The day we left Flaming Gorge, Ashely showed me a neat little trick on my iPhone camera (I don't know why I never knew this...) and using the panoramic option.  I did an ok job keeping it level, but could have been a little steadier in taking pictures at the bottom of the dam.

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

Evey, Grace, and Marley playing their version of dominos.  Honestly, besides stacking them in a row to make them fall over, I don't know how to play dominos either!

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

Kevin cannot wait until Hendrix is old enough to really ride the four-wheeler!!

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

Ashley made breakfast for us one day and I was dying over these prosciutto egg muffins that Ashley made.  As I type this, I want to eat one!! Yum!!!

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

We saw deer and watched TV!! What a time! What a time!!

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

Near the cabin, there is a trailhead that leads to an beautiful over-look of the gorge.  We decided to take the kids on a leisurely hike; maybe a mile round trip.  It turned out a touch more difficult that I imagined.  My kids are absolute city-slickers.  Their lack of endurance for just walking was pretty apparent when they both started whining about "going back" and "when are we going to be done" and, finally, when we reached the end of the hike, "we have to hike back to the car?!"  Then the umbrella stroller, we quickly realized, was not suited for off-roading of any measure, as the wheels kept falling off.  Luckily, Ashley was able to help me carry it at points where pushing it would have been unwise.
Such a cute picture of Evey, Marley and Grace

With all the bumps in the road, Hendrix still managed a snoozer.

The beautiful over-look, of which Marley did not appreciate, as seen by the look on her face.

Step Stool

Since Hendrix has really started walking, he has started REALLY getting into things and discovered the usefulness of a step stool.  He is into EVERYTHING!

Flaming Gorge with the Stephens

Hendrix LOVES Oscar! He was even more thrilled to "walk" Oscar around the cabin with the leash!

Bump on the Noggin

Poor little Hendrix had fallen and bumped his head.  The fall left a nasty-looking scrap on his head.  I feel so bad! But he sure is cute!!

McKee School Pinata

Even though Marley has started kindergarten, I still wanted her to keep up on her Spanish.  Even though it isn't going to be as immersed as going four days a week, I had her start going Friday afternoons.  Three hours a week is better than nothing and she's pretty darn smart and capable of picking things up really easily.  The first week in school they had little party with a pinata.  I have to say that I really love that preschool for the kinds of crafts and activities they do, all while being immersed in the Spanish language!
