Baby Wig Out

So we decided we would try the wig we got from the "Madagascar 3" box and put it on Josslyn...she didn't seem very fond of it...

Wigging Out

Grandma Ruth bought Marley and Grace the movie "Madagascar 3" and it came a wig because the lion in the movie wear a wig just like it.  Grace let us put it on her as she ran around!

Aiya's Tea Party

We got invited to our old neighbor's daughters 2nd birthday party.  Of course I had to go because Aiya's mom, Holly, is a wedding planner, and I knew it would be so adorable!  And it really was!!  I loved the hot chocolate idea...she melted chocolate into ice cube trays with Popsicle sticks in them, and once the chocolate cooled, you could mix it into warm milk to make your hot chocolate! So cute!!!

 I tried SO hard to get a picture of Aiya, but she wasn't having any of that.  It was like she had eyes in the back of her head because I couldn't even sneak in a picture without her knowing what I was doing!!!

Gnawing on a Carrot

My mom decided that Josslyn would love to chew on a carrot, so my mom put on in Josslyn's mouth.  Not too sure if Josslyn is really enjoying the experience!

Throwing Blankets

Can't Quite Fit

Marley and Grace love Jungle Jim's. Since Kevin came home from work a little early, we decided to go have a good time.  I had to hold Hendrix, so Kevin rode with the girls on the faster "roller coaster" ride.  He's just a little bit too big for it!  But such an awesome sport for going on it for the girls!

Feeding Hendrix

Marley and Grace love to be helpful and feed Hendrix since he has started eating solid food.  We have these baby puffs they love to feed Hendrix (almost like he's a little duck or squirrel)  and they are pretty good about breaking them in half for him and not feeding him too many at a time.

Valentine's Day

I am not one to really get into having people give me gifts for birthdays, Valentine's Day or any present-giving type of occasion, and I'm not just saying that, hoping someone will give me something.  I really think I have everything I could want in my life!  But this Valentine's Day Kevin was nice enough to get me these beautiful flowers!  I'm grateful for his thoughtfulness and thankful he's in my life!!!

Valentine's Day Surprises

We got Marley and Grace some little Valentine's Day surprises.  These bears are extremely similar to the bear Marley lost last year when we went to San Diego, so she was pretty excited about it!

aPEARrantly

I went into the kitchen and found this chair pushed up against the counter.  I didn't understand why it was like that, but I knew that Grace was behind it it.  As I looked closer, I realized that she had pushed the chair from the table to the counter so she could sample the fruit on the counter, specifically, a pear.  And the sample being just one bite...

Clown Wig

Marley put on this clown wig we got from buying the movie "Madagascar 3" and decided she needed to take a picture of herself.

Afro Circus

We bought the movie "Madagascar 3" and it came with this kid sized clown wig.  It cracks me up every time one of the kids put it on!  

Hiding Place

I was trying to find Grace to help her put on her shoes so we could take Marley to preschool.  I wasn't quite sure where she was at first, but realized that she had found a little hiding place between one of the armoires and the wall in the living room.  I LOVE the fact that because she is facing the wall, she thinks that no one can see where she is hiding!  I love this kid!!!

Marley and Hendrix

Marley is a great big sister to Hendrix.  She loves to interact with him and he loves when she does!  I try to put Hendrix in the Bumbo but he won't sit in it.  He always strains and straightens his back to push himself out of it.

Killer Glasses

The kids go to Grandma Ruth's on Tuesdays when I'm at work.  Grandma Ruth treated them to lunch somewhere and got them some sun glasses.  Grace's seem to resemble something Elton John would wear...

Drinking From a Straw

Both Marley and Grace were enamoured when they would see Kevin or I drinking with a straw.  Hendrix is no different!  When he saw the girls drinking out their cups, he wanted to as well.  It took him a few tries, but he finally realized if he sucked on the straw, water would come out!

Superbowl Sunday

Every year Ruth and Jerry host a Superbowl party and invited all of Kevin's siblings and their families over for some great food while we the game.  Marley and Grace (and Hendrix will too when he's older) love it because Ruth has fun games to play and prizes to win.  Honestly, with my dad in the Cardiac ICU in Provo, I didn't pay too much attention.  I didn't even know who was playing this year.

 It was nice to see Kevin's family naturally congregate together at the dinner table...I don't know if I have ever seen that happen before on it's own without Jerry or Ruth getting everyone to gather together!

How to Use Furniture Movers

I have no idea where Grace found these furniture movers, but she found a much different use for them. I guess she felt that using them as slippers and gloves was a better idea.  Hey Grace, if you're that cold that you're using furniture movers for slippers and gloves, you may want to consider wearing some clothes...
