Shootin Some B-Ball

Alece's friend from Wisconsin or Minnesota (not sure which) came to visit.  So we went down to my mom and dad's house for pizza and then went to my parents church to use the gym to play basketball.  Of course her friend's excuse for being schooled by Kevin was the "altitude" haha! But they all had a good time playing!

New Hats

I got Marley and Grace new hats for winter (it's been extremely cold and dumped tons of snow this winter!!) and while we were in the car and they were both nearly asleep, they insisted on putting on the hats!!

Quite the Headband

Marley has this black headband and decided she wanted to add every flower clip she could to it...like a flowery Carman Miranda!

Smiley Boy

Hendrix definitely is a kid who loves to give out smiles...even to strangers!  I love this boy!!

Mr. Smiley

Hendrix has a lovely little smile.  He is always quick to smile at most everyone.  He's a really friendly little boy!!

Puppy Face

I took this picture when Hendrix had fallen asleep in his car seat.  I think he has such a cute little puppy face!! I just want to cover it with kisses!

Cheeto Face

These pictures are kind of horrible looking because there's too much background light, but Grace has a crazy amount of Cheeto "cheese" (can it really be called cheese just because it's orange?) all over her face.  It's crazy that she could have that much of a mess from only eating a few Cheetos!!

Millcreek Library

We met up with Susan Oddou and her adorable son, Luc, at the Millcreek Library.  We don't go to the library very often because it seems like all the activities they offer are usually in the morning, when Marley has preschool.  But this time of year it's such a good place to go; especially this year because the inversion is so bad and the weather is so bitterly cold!!  They got to make little pig masks.

Sleepy Baby

I rarely have any pictures of Hendrix sleeping because he just doesn't sleep that well or sleep much, really.  Plus, he wakes up at the drop of a hat, so I try not to bother him too much when he does sleep. But I love sleeping babies...it shows their sweet innocence.

Dead Bunny

We have been watching "Lion King" a lot lately and Grace is always so concerned when Simba's dad, Mufasa dies.  She'll say: "Dad dead? Dad dead?", Dad meaning Mufasa.  Then one day, she was playing with this stuffed bunny toy that she thinks it is the "dad" of the bunnies and when it fell on the floor, she told me that the "dad bunny is dead".

Who's That?

Marley was doing her online preschool program (abcmouse.com) and she saw a picture of this little boy.  She told me that it was our little friend, Ezra Cooper.  I guess this little boy and Ezra looks similar. Ezra is the little boy on the far left sitting on the swing with the girls.

Who is that little boy?

Marley does this online preschool program (abcmouse.com) and she was putting together a puzzle, and she saw the picture of this little boy.  She said, "Jono [my brother] acts like this boy!"  So does she view Jono as forlorn or depressed? Because that kid doesn't look too happy!

Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum moved into a beautiful new building and had a free admission day and Ashley (Evey's mom) was nice enough to get us tickets to go.  When we got there, Grace had a bit of a melt down because she wanted to take her shoes off, but I wouldn't let her. She wasn't too happy about that!  It's really a cool place and I love how as you wander through, it naturally goes down and you move from exhibit to exhibit without really thinking about it!

Grace and Evey (Marley was at preschool)

Behind the Wheel

Grace is always clamoring to get into the driver's seat so she can pretend to drive the Sequoia. I tried to get a picture of her but she was "driving" too frantically!

Picture Taking

This is Grace taking a picture of herself.

Snow Throne

This January we have gotten a huge amount of snow fall, which of course, is a dream come true for Marley.  She LOVES playing in the snow.  Her face will bright red from cold and she still wants to continue to play in the snow.  Kevin made her a little snow throne to sit on.
