Let's Swing

We went to the park while Marley was at her summer camp and Grace helped me push Hendrix in the swing.  At first he was a bit nervous, but he ended it up loving it!

Way Up High

Marley and her cute little neighbor friend, Ashlyn are taking a summer camp together.  We were supposed to go up hiking in the mountains, but due to my stupidity and road construction, we had to settle on the park instead.  I just love this picture of Ashlyn on top of the play structure...she looks so thrilled to be at the park!!

Church Chat

Our neighbors sat behind us at church, which turned out to be an noisy idea.  Of course I had to fight with my kids to stay facing forward, instead of backwards to play with their friends!  My kids have a bit of trouble with listening!

Slip-n-Slide on Steriods

I feel so bad that we don't have a play structure of some sort in our back yard for the girls to play on this summer.  So I found this blow-up water slide for a pretty good price and thought that they could play on this.  Both of them had great time playing on it, even without the water!!

My Little Cindrella

Grandma Ruth got some new princess dress-up dresses that Marley could not wait to put on and prance around in!

Frozen Treats

What kid doesn't like popsicles?  My kids always want one after dinner (especially now that it's summer time!)  I usually make them take off their shirts so they don't make a big mess on them.  Apparently that means, pants as well!  These kids are so cute!!

Fancy Bow Tie

Grace is such a goof ball.  She got one of Hendrix bow ties and put it on.  She is so entertaining!

Monkey Mountain

I got these Groupon discount passes for an indoor play-place in Park City called Monkey Mountain, so I thought I'd take the kids to see how they liked it.  They had a great time and it was nice because I could let Hendrix crawl around without having to worry if he was going to crawl somewhere he was not supposed to.  The kids have already asked to go back!

Sleeping Boy

Oh this sleeping baby face is so precious!  I just want to give him kisses!!

Standing Room

Hendrix boy can able to pull himself up to standing in his crib.  I never had to lower the crib (like I did with the girls) because he is such a mama's boy and slept in our bedroom until he was nearly 10 months old.  I finally made the transition to his own bed. It was already lowered because we got Grace out of the crib and into a "big girl" bed so Hendrix could start using the crib. However, Hendrix still gets up several times a night to nurse.  Hopefully, some day, he'll sleep in longer intervals!!

Bare Foot at the Playground

There is a park a short walking distance away from where Marley and Grace do their gymnastics and sometimes I will take Hendrix there so he doesn't try to crawl all over the gymnastic equipment.  He loves crawling all over the playground, even without shoes!

Picking Up Pinecones

While Marley was doing her gymnastics class, Grace, Hendrix and I took a little walk to a park about 5 minutes away from the gym.  Grace found copious amounts of pine cones and wanted me to help carry a bunch of them (while holding Hendrix). Grace became distraught when we weren't able to collect and carry every pinecone we came across!  She is such a funny little girl!!

Tummy Sleeper

My gem treasure sleeper Grace! I don't know how she can sleep face down like that!

Baby's Sleeping

I know I say this often, but there is nothing more precious than a sleeping baby.  Look at house precious and tender Hendrix looks asleep.  With his little pup cheeks and cherubic face!!

Kevin or Spider Man with capri pants?

I guess they've started Halloween in June (pretty early this year) because I was able to buy this Spider Man costume for $10! I got Kevin to put it on but it's a tad short in the legs so I really don't know if he will ever wear it!

Piano Recital

One of the most adorable little boys from our old neighborhood in Olympus Cove, Calvin Bell, had a piano recital.  His mom, Meili, is a piano teacher, so naturally he takes lessons!  He used to be in Marley's Sunday school class at church, so it was so fun to see him play.  He did a FANTASTIC job!  We were all so very impressed!!  Marley and Grace got to hold pictures Calvin had painted that went along with the songs that he played. So cute!!

Disneyland Trip (Farmer's Market)

One thing I love about California is the plethora of farmer's markets! So fun!

 Poor kid the only time he got a nap was in the car!  Marley and Grace did the same throughout the trip.

Disneyland Trip (Newport Beach)

This part of the vacation is what I'm looking forward to...hanging out on the beach! Hendrix loved the sand and crawling out to the ocean.  Such a relaxing day!

Ooh! Too much sun and he's married to a dermatology nurse! Yikes!!
