Disney on Ice

For Marley's birthday, Grandma Ruth got tickets for Marley and Grace to Disney on Ice.  As cheesy as it was, the girls LOVED it!!  Grandma Ruth got really good seats because Papa Jerry is a Jazz basketball season ticket holder.  The prices for the snacks and souvenirs are ridiculous! A bag of cotton candy was $12! Seriously?!  I guess they make people think they have to buy it.  Anyway, they did get a souvenir because they could use the plastic steins again and they liked the princess crowns. I took a few video clips of the show knowing that they will want to watch them again.  After watching it, they both asked when we can go again...for me any time is too soon!  But I will take them again because they loved it so much!!

 The intensity of Marley's face is so funny.  She has such a huge and vivid imagination that I know she really gets into whats going on during the show.

Aloha!

Grandma Ruth went to Hawaii and brought back some Hawaiian dress-ups for Marley and Grace.  They look ready to do the Hoola!

Shopping Cart

Hendrix is growing up so darn fast!! He is now able to sit in the shopping cart by himself.  I am always so sad at how fast my kids grow up.  I have to remember that no matter how chaotic it can be, I have to treasure this precious time I have with my kids because they don't stay little for long enough!!

Beautiful Baby

I took my kids down to Pleasant Grove to visit my brother Jono and his lovely little girl, Josslyn.  She has such an adorable face and awesome hair!! I want to kiss her cheeks!!!

Sleeping Baby

All Dressed-Up

I love when Marley and Grace get dressed up...they always looks so cute!!  (Even though Marley's dress is several sizes too big!)

You Fancy Girl

This is what I call a WONDERFUL day of hair for me!  Of course, it's because Emorie straightened it out for me!  Emorie put in a chemical straightening treatment that should last a few months so I should be able to imitate this look at home...only time will tell because I'm horrible at making my curly hair straight!

Marley the Magician

We have a magic kit that Marley got a couple years ago for Christmas.  She has gotten really into learning how to do the tricks.  Some are relatively easy and she's really done well at mastering them!  It's so fun to watch her perform them!  She wanted to put on a magic show for the family!  She's such a cute girl!!

Plumber Crack

Marley has a hard time wearing pants, jeans, or skirts because she really doesn't have a bum.  Often her bottoms tend to fall down, which give Marley a plumber crack and everyone can see her bum!!

Sitting up to Sleep

For my mom, the television is like a sleeping pill.  For years she falls asleep in front of the television.  When I have asked her if she should just go to bed, she tells me that she's just "resting".  Anyway, she has now taken to falling asleep, watching TV, while sitting up.  I honestly don't know how she does it. I can't fall asleep unless my head is at least leaning against something!

Pico de Gallo

I made some Pico de Gallo and was surprised when Grace asked to eat it.  In fact, she ate most of what was left in the bowl!  She is such a great eater!!!

Climbing the Floor

I found Grace laying on the floor on her belly, dragging her body across the floor using only her arms.  She told me she was "climbing"...

Big Red

Last year we went to visit our friends, the Coopers, in San Antonio, TX.  We ate a BBQ joint that had this soda that Kevin just longed for.  We thought this precious soda was only available in TX, but, much to Kevin's delight, we found a store that sells it in Utah!  Oh how Kevin was thrilled!!!

Restless

Although Hendrix is a wonderful baby, he has a difficult time sleeping.  When I put him in the Pack N' Play, he was laying parallel.  He wiggled and fussed around so much, he turned himself perpendicular!

Moron...?

Grace really likes the "Max and Ruby" books and television show.  We have a "Max and Ruby" book that has flip open windows through out the book.  One of the bunnies is named "Morris" but Grace kept calling him "Moron"!

Hat Stand...?

I went into the living room and found the candelabra with a hat and several other things draped over it.  I thought maybe Marley had been using it as a hat stand or something.  She told me that she was trying to dress it up like a "lady".  Marley has such a funny imagination and she always makes me laugh!
